After earning her BA at George Washington University in French Language/Literature and Education, she taught French in Montgomery County Public Schools. Following her MA coursework at the University of Texas in Urban Affairs, she traveled across the US conducting social science research in a variety of fields. Adrienne is a native Washingtonian, has lived in Bethesda for 29 years and enjoys her mountain retreat in the Shenandoah as well. Her son, who works in International Development, has lived with his family in Zambia for the last 7 years and he is now relocating to Cape Town, South Africa. Adrienne loves her travels to Africa and elsewhere, and in her leisure time she enjoys the culinary arts, film and theatre, reading and the great outdoors.
