Licensed in both Virginia and Washington DC, Brian is originally from Johnstown, PA. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown (UPJ), Brian did graduate studies at Virginia Tech and is a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Brian’s experience buying his personal home and a career working in hospitality and commercial real estate finance inspired him to become a residential real estate agent nearly 20 years ago. He personally bought and sold a number of homes and it wasn’t long before Brian realized he could offer immense value to buyers and sellers.
With that in mind, he set out a number of principles that remain the foundation of his business today, which include (1) understanding the unique market conditions of each neighborhood to give his clients knowledge so that they can make informed decisions; (2) being readily available to provide his clients with hands-on guidance throughout the sales process; (3) being pro-active to anticipate his client’s information needs and to avoid last minute surprises; (4) listening to his clients and focusing on their needs; and (5) exceeding expectations by offering top-notch, responsive service to a limited number of clients.
Offering sound advice and guidance on what is the most important financial and emotional transaction most us will have in our lives gives Brian great pride. It’s Brian’s aim to anticipate his client’s questions – pricing, timing, financing, terms – so that he’s ready with a clear and actionable response. Navigating contract contingencies and recognizing long-term home value has brought his clients success.
Today, with a long list of happy clients – Brian knows his decision in 2002 to become an agent was the right one. What is it Mark Twain said, find a job that you enjoy doing and you’ll never work a day in your life? Brian found it and hopes to put his many talents and ambition to work for his clients.
Brian resides in Rosslyn with his husband David and Pip, their Boston Terrier. He has lived throughout Northern Virginia neighborhoods including: Country Club Hills, Clarendon, Dover-Crystal, Lee-Heights, Old Glebe, Falls Church and Old Town. In his free time, he enjoys home renovation, gardening, running, cooking, and beating his friends at cards.
