Real Estate Professional in Maryland, and the District of Columbia
Eric is a third-generation Washingtonian bringing a lifetime of experience to the real estate industry. His family has been an integral part of the city for over a century beginning with his grandparents who settled in Washington in the early 1900’s. After starting their own grocery and liquor stores, they began investing in real estate throughout the city. Eric is a current resident of The Town of Chevy Chase and understands the importance of a premier location. His current residence on a tree-lined street is only two blocks from downtown Bethesda, and the lifestyle it provides is unparalleled. With family living across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, there are few who know the area and its unique neighborhoods like Eric.
Eric prides himself on his multifaceted knowledge about the industry. He founded Burka Studios Media Productions in 2000 as a boutique real estate branding and marketing firm; the company was acquired in 2011 by Streetsense, an experiential real estate design collaborative. There, Eric is Managing Principal of the Residential Practice Group and oversees many different types of projects, giving him unique insight into the most effective ways to market and sell property. His broad expertise spans from architecture, design, finance, to accounting. His attention to detail is particularly notable and always appreciated.
Eric graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda and has BS in Business Management from the W.P. Cary School of Business at Arizona State University. He worked as a producer at Paramount Studios and Disney during his years in Los Angeles and still has a love for the West Coast.
Eric served on the Board of Directors for the Imagination Stage, The Concord Hill School, and the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council. He continues to support local and national charities.
