Kirsten Williams is a multi-faceted broker who brings experience and enthusiasm to all aspects of her life. Kirsten began her real estate career in the Washington metropolitan area in 1997 and quickly became a top producing sales associate. She is known and respected for her professionalism, knowledge of the local real estate market, and for her exceptional understanding of the personal needs and wishes of each of her clients. Kirsten grew up in California and Oregon. She earned a BA in Communications from Saint Mary's College of California, then came east to attend Boston University, graduating in 1995 with a master's degree in Psychology. Soon thereafter she moved to Washington, DC where she worked for two well-known and highly regarded commercial interior goods firms. Today, she and her family reside in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Since moving to the Washington metropolitan area, Kirsten has owned five homes. She oversaw the renovation and eventual sale of four, and the renovation of her fifth (where she plans to stay). An enthusiastic community leader, Kirsten is involved in many local organizations including the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, local Brownie Troop #2556, the Chevy Chase Recreational Association Stingrays swim team, and the Chevy Chase Historical Society, where she serves as a board member. She plays tennis as a member of a U.S. Tennis Association team, participates as runner, cyclist or swimmer (as needed!) in Triathlon relays, and has twice run in the American Odyssey Gettysburg to DC relay. Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband John, an avid cyclist; young daughters Betty (Chevy Chase Elementary) and Katie (Rosemary Hills Primary School), and the family's Labrador puppy Bix.
