Laurie has lived in Washington for over 25 years and now calls the DC area home. After graduating from SMU, Laurie moved to DC to begin her career in media and press relations and worked in the press office for a presidential campaign. She continued her career at renowned global brands including ABC Television, U.S. News & World Report, and The Atlantic. She also served as manager of advertising at Fannie Mae and then went on to direct the marketing and client relations for BakerBotts LLP.
As a real estate agent, Laurie uses all of her professional skills and experiences to help better serve her clients. Laurie is an extremely detail-oriented communicator, strong negotiator and moves quickly to capitalize on opportunities for her clients. She has strong relationships within the real estate community and is often able to take advantage of off-market opportunities. When working with buyers, she is instrumental in helping clarify their vision of the home that suits them best and finding it! When helping sellers, Laurie’s knowledge of the market and her ability to highlight the strengths of a home’s potential for future buyers ensures that the property is marketed to its full potential. Whether working with buyers or sellers, Laurie advises her clients with all the care of a long time friend, while being a fierce advocate for their needs.
Over the years, Laurie has lived in Arlington, Georgetown, Woodley Park, Friendship Heights and currently, Bethesda. When she is not selling real estate, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking with her dogs and supporting initiatives for the local schools and philanthropic organizations, including A Wider Circle and DC Safe.
