Marc Hershkowitz has been working as a Real Estate professional in the DC area since 2000. He has helped hundreds of clients - in both buyers' and sellers' markets - ranging from first time buyers to growing families and empty nesters seeking to downsize, as well as those transitioning to more suitable senior communities. He's worked extensively with a developer and in property management. Marc offers his clients experience working with investors who buy, renovate and sell all kinds of property. Plus, he has an excellent understanding of the rental market and the ins and outs of being a landlord. Marc's clients value his ability to anticipate their specific needs - and he works hard to see that their goals are met. He's known for being a strong communicator, and is highly detail-oriented. Marc's skill and determination have helped many clients get their offers accepted during protracted negotiations and bidding wars. His experience and knowledge of the market have allowed his clients to successfully navigate the Washington area's dynamic real estate landscape. Originally from New York City, Marc moved to the DC area in 1980, and studied restaurant management at Montgomery College. He managed several area restaurants as well as a large kitchen while living on a kibbutz for ten years in Israel. Marc is very active in the community, having served on school and neighborhood committees, as treasurer of his Condo association, and on the Board of the Brotherhood at his synagogue. Fluent in Hebrew, he is passionate about teaching which he continues to do weekly at Temple Emanuel. Marc lives in Rockville with his teenage son. Together they enjoy camping, listening to live music and exploring off-the-beaten-track places.
