Mary joins TTR Sotheby's International Realty from another firm where she worked with one of the region's top selling agents whose annual business exceeded $150 million. Prior to entering real estate Mary spent nearly twenty years in political appointments in several Administrations where she served as Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Congressional Affairs (USTR), and Director of Business Liaison for the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Mary brings her skills as a strategist, advocate and negotiator to her new passion in real estate. As a native Washingtonian Mary knows the area well. She grew up in McLean, Virginia, lived in Georgetown for twenty years, currently resides in Spring Valley and spends considerable time in Bethesda where her youngest son attends the Landon School. Mary and her husband Alan, a partner in the firm Sidley Austin, are involved in numerous charitable organizations including the American Heart Association and the Children's Law Center. Mary enjoys travelling with her husband and three children, reading and running. Mary offers her clients a keen familiarity with nearly all aspects of living in the Washington area, an intuitive and discerning manner and a commitment to excellent and efficient service.
